Bill Nye the Science Guy is now a New York Fashion Week star in 'out of this world' show
Could he have a future on the runway?
Bill Nye the Science Guy has stepped into a whole new world and absolutely owned it on the runway.
The 61-year-old star - who is fondly remembered by many for his PBS educational children's show in the 1990s - made an appearance during New York Fashion Week and stole the show in a very stylish suit.
Bill isn't a regular in these circles, but his turn at the Life On Mars: Fall-Winter 2035 show was absolutely out of this world.

He stepped onto the catwalk with a huge smile on his face, looking totally suave in a silver tuxedo with black trimmings.

With a brilliant planet graphic print, Bill completed the suitably extravagant look with matching grey trousers and a polka dot bow tie.
And for anyone hoping to emulate his style, he was happy to pass on his secrets.

Tweeting Vogue magazine, he simply wrote: "I'm trying my best."

It isn't his first attempt at something new, however - and he's even tried his hand at the world of ballroom dancing.
Back in 2013, Bill competed on Dancing With The Stars alongside pro partner Tyne Stecklein - although an injury meant they pulled out in week three.
