Arguably one of Nigeria’s most loved couples, 2Face Idibia and Annie Idibia have come a long way to be together and their true love story is one that could even bring tears to your eyes.
Despite the ups and downs, baby mama drama and crazy careers, they have always found a way back into each other’s arms proving that truly, love conquers all.
Annie first met 2face Idibia at Even Ezra Music Studio when she was just fifteen. She once said,“I think there was some electricity that second”.
By the time they shot the “African Queen” video in 2004, they had started dating and everyone could tell how in love they were.

Coming back from Annie’s 16th birthday, 2face showed off his boyfriend status by paying bus fares for all her friends. He ended up not eating dinner that night but he was content doing it for love.
They broke up after the pregnancy debacle started. It was a trying time for the couple as 2face had children with two different women at different times so their relationship became an on/off thing.
Their love stayed strong despite all odds. Annie went on to have two children for Mr Innocent Idibia but she stayed on good terms with 2Face’s other children.
In 2012, 2Face proposed to Annie on Valentine’s Day. She burst into tears when it happened because she did not see it coming.
Their wedding was glamorous and made all the past troubles look like nothing.
At long last, they were together.
2Face’s African Queen became his soul mate and the only video vixen he needed for the rest of his career.
