A House vote expected Thursday on the latest GOP attempt to
repeal Obamacare got Seth Meyers going on Wednesday night.
The “Late Night” host lambasted the Trump administration-backed bill because it would allow states to waive Obamacare protections for patients with pre-existing conditions. One study said that would make premiums skyrocket for people dealing with asthma, diabetes and even pregnancy, Meyers noted.
“So basically, in order to afford having a baby, that baby would have to immediately get a job,” he quipped.
