Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited to wedding of tennis royalty Serena Williams

She's considered tennis royalty, so it's probably fitting that Serena Williams has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to her forthcoming wedding.
The pair are said to be top VIP guestlist for the Wimbledon champ's eagerly-anticipated nuptials to boyfriend Alexis Ohanian, which are expected to take place later this year.
According to a report in The Sun , Serena's long-standing friendship with Meghan is what formed the basis for the invite.
A source said: “Serena has told her sister and some pro friends Meghan is definitely getting a ‘plus one’ for Harry . Now the tennis players are even more desperate to ensure they score an invite for themselves so they can party with royalty.
“No date has been announced yet but Serena has made it clear who should be keeping their diary free so they can celebrate her big day.”

The pair first met in 2015 at a lunch and started dating in October of that year.
While they're not the most public of celebrity couples, Alexis has been supporting Serena's tennis career since they first got together - and he posted a public congratulations on his Instagram when she won the 2016 Wimbledon women's final.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has spoken of her heartbreak at acting out a storyline in the soap that mirrored the death of her own baby son Archie in 2009.
The 40-year-old suffered flashbacks during the filming of the harrowing scenes, in which her character Michelle loses her son Ruari at 23 weeks and is driven to the brink of suicide.
The actress was "utterly lost" when Archie, her son with ex-partner Jamie Lomas , died at just 21 weeks old.
Kym admitted that she could not see a way to pull through but found the strength to carry on from being mother to David and Emilie, then 13 and 11.

Eight years on — and now also mum to Polly, six — she was strong enough to act in a storyline that brought back painful memories of her own loss.
She said: "I never got to the point of thinking about taking my own life, but I don’t know how I might have felt if I hadn’t had two young children and a good support network around me... I can totally understand how people feel like they can’t carry on."

Kym described how she "wanted to stay hidden away forever" after her son died.
"All I could think was, ‘Why has this happened to me?’ ...I didn’t want to go outside, I didn’t want to see anyone, I didn’t want to hear anyone laughing. How could anyone laugh when my son has died?"
She paid tribute to her children: "I’m lucky to have three amazing kids. David and Emilie are grown up now and Polly is a little whirlwind and a delight.”

Kym — who has played Michelle Connor in the ITV soap for more than a decade — admits there are still days when she cannot talk about Archie without breaking down in tears.
And she had flashbacks during the heartbreaking scenes which saw Michelle’s baby pass away.
The actress had to have a counsellor on set to help her get through the scenes.
"Corrie were brilliant and arranged for me to have access to a counsellor before and during filming. He was there to bring me back to now after those scenes."
She explained her motivation for agreeing to do the storyline: "I wanted to help women like me, and I wanted to honour Archie.
"I knew it would be really painful but this is an issue that affects thousands of families every year and it’s something that often isn’t talked about."

Kym added: "I wanted to show people all of those little things that really hurt me. Michelle heard other babies crying on the ward, and that’s exactly what happened to me."
Filming the scenes was tough, with "horrible moments," and the actress said: "I knew it was going to be hard.
"But what shocked me the most was that the baby had a little cap on — just like Archie did when I first saw him. For a moment, I was back in that room."
Archie remains part of her family. Kym said: "Even though we never got to spend time with him, or even see his eyes open, he’s still my son and David, Polly and Emilie’s brother."
She added: "I think it’s important for families to talk about the child they’ve lost. I always say that I’m mother to three children and one angel.”

And his work with the horses has impressed his wife Jennifer Garner , 44, who this month was reported to have put their divorce on hold.
A source tells me: “Working with horses has really helped Ben through his issues. The clinic he went to is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and offers fishing, hiking and rafting along with equine therapy. It’s a central part of the alcohol programme to bring feelings of hope.”
It was the second spell in rehab for father-of-three Ben, who checked into the California clinic Promises way back in 2001.
The source says: “Ben and Jennifer still live in the same house and have created an amazing space for their kids. She has been incredibly supportive and Ben is just focused on getting better.”
On Facebook on Wednesday, Ben, said: “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront.
“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids, as I’ve done the work I set out to do.”

Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has been spotted in public for the first time in nearly three years after he was caged for child sex crimes.
The 86-year-old Australian was caught on camera as he was taken to a hospital appointment outside prison .
Harris dressed in a grey coat which covered his blue prison uniform as he kept his head down and his eyes locked on a book he carried in his hands.
But any hopes of visiting the hospital undetected were dashed as bystanders recognised his trademark white beard and thick head of hair.
Harris was not handcuffed but was flanked by a male and female prison guard as they escorted him 100 yards from a prison van into New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
One onlooker said: "He was staring at the floor and then acted as if he was studying the cover of his book.
"He obviously didn't want to be recognised but everyone knows his face and with that hair and beard he stuck out like a sore thumb.
"When he realised he'd been spotted he suddenly held the book up to his face."
Harris spent around 45 minutes at the hospital for the appointment before he was driven back to his cell at HMP Stafford 20 miles away.
The former TV star was last seen in public in July 2014 when he arrived by boat from his Thames-side mansion in Berkshire to be sentenced at London's Southwark Crown Court.
He was convicted of 12 historic indecent assaults on four young girls - one just seven or eight - between 1968 and 1986.
He is serving a sentence of five years and nine months in the category-C prison.
He was cleared of three further assaults at a second trial last month but told he faces a retrial in May on another three sex offences jurors couldn't decide on, plus one new charge.

At one point, after climbing in the back of the car for a photo opportunity, poor Katie nearly flashed her backside as she got comfortable on the upholstery.
Not that she was bothered, of course. Chances are she was still celebrating after her win at Cheltenham Races, earlier in the day.
Model and business magnate Katie put a bet on Sizing John to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup, but with odds of 7-1, it was far from the favourite.
But, ever the lucky one, it turned out Katie had a winner on her hands. She celebrated her big win by punching the air, shrieking a bit and letting her husband Kieran give her a peck on the cheek and a quick cuddle.

Earlier in the day, Katie had documented her journey to one of the biggest events on the horse racing calendar.
She posted a video of her, Kieran and two pals being driven to the festival on her social media.
"Just arriving at Cheltenham Races" she announced in the video, before panning the camera across her pals she's sharing the back seat with, before getting Kieran, who was sitting in the front seat, to turn round for the camera.
Katie looked stylish at the annual event wearing some black trousers, a black blouse and a black jacket and sunglasses, while Kieran wore jeans and a navy and green tartan blazer with a white shirt.

Fans have called for Jeremy McConnell to be axed from MTV reality show Ex On The Beach after his arrest for allegedly assaulting his ex Stephanie Davis.
The tattooed hunk, who has denied any wrongdoing, was released from custody after being arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He is due to star in the MTV hit Ex On The Beach and producers are under pressure to make a decision following his brush with the law.
Fans have lashed out at MTV for allowing the new dad to appear on the show.
One fumed: "I don't understand how new dad Jeremy can go on TV. It's a disgrace."
Another added: "Why would a new dad leave his baby in the most precious time?"
A source told Mirror Online that MTV bosses had reached out to the reality star regarding the assault allegations claiming they are wary of flying him out to film.
It comes as Stephanie showed she was getting on with her life as a new mum, sharing a picture of her baby son Caben-Albi's nursery with the caption: "Cabens wardrobes and Cot up in his new room. Still lots to do but it finally feels like home.
"Thankyou to my dad for helping all today with Building Everything hope your backs not to sore. Just to finish it off now," she added.
The large plushy elephant given to Caben by his godfather, Steph's best friend Jay Roberts, was in pride of place hanging over the side of the little boy's cot, while a couple of baby books and a piggy bank could be seen on the windowsill.
Neither Steph nor Jeremy have yet publicly commented on the incident, which was said to have left the ex-Hollyoaks actress "shaken and distressed" after she reported her ex to the police last Sunday.
"Steph is really shaken after picking up the phone and calling police," a source told Mirror Celeb.

"Because of lack of sleep, genes, dehydration, I get bags under my eyes and I wanted to get them lightened. So I went to my doctor, Simon – he's Kim Kardashian’s doctor," she said.
"I like high cheekbones. I’ve never had plastic surgery. Fillers and plastic surgery are two different things and I want people to understand that," she insists.
Her justification for this is that she's now in the 'limelight' thanks to her nuptials. Something that could potentially include a role in Celebrity Big Brother .
"If other women had this money and if they had a husband who was famous, they would do it, too. If I wasn’t married to Amir Khan, I’d probably be a regular girl and I might not do it. But I’m in the limelight, I go to events, so it’s part of my life now."

Earlier this year she told her Snapchat followers that she's considering the CBB offer - though she didn't reveal how much money they were trying to lure her with.
"Hey guys, I got asked to be on Celebrity Big Brother ... it's a very tricky one and idk if I can do it," she wrote in a post. "I want all my followers advice. On my last Instagram post tell me whether I should or shouldn't? I want you guys to pick! X."
However, despite embracing the media interest, she said she's also keen to have another child with Khan - irrespective of any domestic dramas.
"My husband wants another child so badly," she confesses. "But I want my daughter to be an independent woman – Islam teaches that. I want her to go out, get her career, do whatever she wants and I will support her one hundred per cent.’"
However, it's not clear whether any new addition will be raised in Bolton, Lancashire, where Khan is from. She describes the town as "a village compared to New York".
